Primary Job Function: Conduct a thorough analysis of customers’ heating and cooling system and perform tune-ups with no supervision

General Skills:

· Must be able to properly clean HVAC system to Snyder Company guidelines

· Must be able to properly charge an air conditioning system with refrigerant and check and superheat sub cool

· Must be able to find and repair water leaks

· Must be able to complete all paperwork neatly, accurately, and completely with no supervision

· Must be able to generate equipment leads

· Must be able to generate accessory leads

· Must be able to successfully explain the benefits of Preventative Maintenance Agreements

· Must be able to explain and schedule Service Dept. for diagnostic and repair

Daily Duties:

· Report to office to get parts, then directly to first call of the day

· Properly analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner

· Spot potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks

· Charge and collect for all work performed, per company policy and procedures

· Complete paperwork daily, recording all hours and materials used on each invoice

· Turn in all paperwork and forms with revenue to EMT Department daily or as directed

· Make sure all customers are satisfied with services rendered before leaving location

· Keep entire working area neat and organized and free of debris, foot, and fingerprints

· Provide customers with information on company’s maintenance program

· Other duties as assigned

Performance Indicators: Certain key business indicators that will measure the effectiveness of the Level 1 EMT Technician include the following:

· Accuracy of invoicing, labor hours, and materials charged to clients and turned in timely with revenue attached

· Number of warranty callbacks and workmanship

· Cleanliness and organization in the customers’ home or in the company vehicle

· Number of Preventative Maintenance contracts sold

· Equipment sales and/or lead turnovers

· Weekly GSH

· Attendance and attitude

· Attend service training either in classroom or online to upgrade technical capabilities

· Six month preset appointment percentage
